How Pricing Works at Karelda
Karelda uses a dynamic pricing model. Your total cost depends on the dates you select and the services you require.
Price Components
- Nightly Rate: The base rate per night. This may vary by season — peak periods such as school holidays and public holidays attract a higher rate.
- Cleaning Fee: A one-time cleaning fee is added to every booking regardless of length of stay.
- Pet Fee: If you declare a pet at booking, a one-time pet fee is charged.
- GST (10%): All prices include GST. The GST component is shown separately in your price breakdown for clarity.
Discounts
Discount codes may be available for extended stays or special promotions. If you have a discount code, enter it during the booking process to see your savings applied.
When is payment taken?
Full payment is taken at the time of booking via Stripe. Once your payment is confirmed, your dates are secured.
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD). Karelda will never request payment in foreign currency or to an overseas bank account.
